Ten cultural and arts nonprofit organizations in North Carolina are receiving more than $566,000 in grants from the Duke Energy Foundation to support arts appreciation and educational programs that foster community vitality.

The Piedmont Natural Gas Foundation today announced a $100K grant to YWCA Central Carolinas, a gift that will help the nonprofit preserve its 51-year-old campus with renovations to its pool, locker rooms and gymnasium roof.
