Duke Energy has selected five Florida properties for participation in this year's Site Readiness Program to prepare them for business and industrial development.
Duke Energy crews and additional contractors worked throughout the day restoring power to Florida customers impacted by Tropical Storm Colin. As of 3:30 p.m., approximately 3,600 customers, mainly in Pinellas County, were still experiencing storm-related outages. Since the storm began on Monday, company crews have restored power about 95,000 of its 1.7 million Florida customers.
