Duke Energy Kentucky today sought its first gas base rate increase in nearly a decade on the heels of strategic, data-driven investments to make Northern Kentucky’s natural gas delivery system more reliable and resilient for customers.

Fifteen Duke Energy apprentice and journeyman line workers from Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky earned the right to advance to the International Lineman's Rodeo in Bonner Springs, Kans., Oct. 12-13, after competing in the Duke Energy Midwest Lineman's Rodeo in Plainfield, Ind., on Aug. 11.

Amy Spiller – currently vice president of Ohio government and community affairs – will succeed Henning as president of Duke Energy Ohio and Duke Energy Kentucky.
